Crook Inn Bunkhouse

The Crook Inn Bunkhouse is an amazing testament to community action, innovative design and love of local heritage.

A picturesque spot along the River Tweed, the Crook Inn has been at the heart of Tweedsmuir for over 400 years. First licensed as a Coaching Inn in 1604, it is one of the oldest licensed premises in Scotland.

After the successful Save the Crook campaign, the Inn and surrounding land was purchased by the Tweedsmuir Community Company in 2016.

Crook Inn Bunkhouse is led by Tweedsmuir Community Company.
