Learn how to make a spectacular 3D concertina sketchbook at this creative workshop led by illustrator Jane Porter. You’ll use folded paper to create your own fantasy version of the river Tweed, then embellish with ink, collage, rubber stamps, curled paper and ribbon.
The session is inspired by the Connecting Threads theme of ‘Under, over, round and through’, playfully exploring how the river moves and what it sees on its journey from the source to the sea at Berwick-upon-Tweed.
This is a hands-on workshop for all ages from six and up; children must be accompanied by adults. The workshop is suitable for family groups as well as adults without children. Wearing old clothes is recommended if you would like to use ink!
This workshop will run twice on the same day: once at 11am-1pm, and 2pm-4pm. You can book for your preferred slot on the ticketing page.
