Excavations at Fairnilee, 11th-15th August

Join the Uncovering the Tweed team for an excavation of a possible moated site at Fairnilee, Galashiels.

Site hours will be between 10am and 3pm. Sign up for a day or two to try it out or come for the whole week! They recommend signing up for a series of consecutive days if you are able to, to get the most out the experience and try out different parts of the project.

Training in excavation and recording will be provided by archaeologists from AOC.
