Join Borders Forest Trust at the Corehead orchard for a workshop led by apple tree expert Mark Shipperlee, where you will learn various aspects of orchard management with a focus on restorative winter pruning of apple trees.
It’s worth noting this is a rural location, there is a compost toilet on the site but the nearest cafes, shops and public toilets are located in Moffat.
The Cabin is a short walk across a field from the Borders Forest Trust Corehead Car Park. The path can be muddy, so wellies or boots is recommended.
