The community have worked tirelessly to fundraise and plan the site’s regeneration with the help of over 90 volunteers!
The first phase of activity at the site included opening the Wee Crook Café, serving fresh food daily and an important space for local events, ongoing major development of waymarked walking routes, an Ecomuseum, and a productive community garden.
As part of the development at the Crook Inn site, Destination Tweed is supporting the construction of a high-quality 16-bed bunkhouse with sustainable, accessible facilities.
Currently, applications are being submitted to help support building work as plans to inject life and heart into the Crook Inn progress with the help of the local community and their amazing volunteer spirit.
