The River Tweed has inspired generations, and now we’d love to hear your story. Your memories and reflections matter, whether you live nearby, have visited, or simply feel a connection to the river.
Help us celebrate the River Tweed, its people, places and history, from source to sea.
Where will your story go?
All eligible stories will become part of the Tweed Stories online archive, which showcases the unique character and heritage of the river.
Your stories will also be used to inform and inspire new films, digital assets and interpretation for the River Tweed Trail, promoting the experience to visitors and connecting communities and attractions along the route.
How do I upload a story?
Submitting your story is easy. Just fill in the form with your details, your story title and main text, and upload any images, audio or video you would like to submit to accompany your story.
Stories can be up to 250 words in length. You are welcome to share more than one story, but you must submit a separate form for each.
