We had friends who lived in Peebles, having moved there from Edinburgh in retirement. Unfortunately, the guy had a stroke, which confined him to using a mobility scooter outdoors.
We appreciated the tarmac paths alongside the River Tweed, which enabled us to still ‘walk’ together as a foursome to enjoy it and the surrounding beautiful countryside.
