Join the Uncovering the Tweed team for an introduction to geophysical survey at Drumelzier Haugh. The session will involve an introduction to geophysics and training on how to use the resistivity equipment to survey the area around a medieval hoard findspot, to help add to what is currently known about the context of the find.
Access: There is parking near site and participants should come prepared to walk c. 10 minutes along a track to the site and then over a grass field with uneven ground. Please be aware there is no welfare on site for this event but there is a public toilet a short drive away in Broughton King George VI carpark.
