Part of Borders Meadows Trust’s community grant-funded project, this exciting event invites you to join Amanda Edmiston in the grounds of iconic Abbotsford House, home of legendary poet and author Sir Walter Scott.
This workshop will take a simple multisensory look at working with botanical elements, with a focus on the plants and stories connecting to Abbotsford and the wild meadows along the banks of the River Tweed.
We will be making a simple folded plant paper book for our notes; making and sipping the herbal teas associated with the stories and exploring their health benefits; and finding creative ways to gather and share our plant stories.
