Would you like to attract more active visitors to your business? Do you have an idea for a new product, service or experience for walkers or cyclists? Join our tourism innovation workshop on Monday 4th November in Berwick-upon-Tweed and ensure you’re ready for the upcoming River Tweed Trail launch.
** About the River Tweed Trail**
The River Tweed Trail is a 113-mile multi-use trail from the source of the river near Moffat, to Berwick upon Tweed where the river meets the sea, designed to attract walkers and cyclists. The multi-faceted initiative, which will see an investment of around £25 million in the area, includes a wide range of cultural, river and landscape enhancement projects.
** Who is the workshop for?**
We’ll tell you more about the trail and highlight success stories from areas where long-distance trails have made a big impact locally. But mostly it’s an opportunity to ask questions, explore new ideas and hopefully develop some new products, services and experiences that offer visitors that authentic Northumberland experience. We think you will benefit from attending if:
– You are an existing business in Northumberland looking to attract more tourists and visitors (especially active tourists)
– You have an idea for a brand-new business that will target active tourists
– You would like to collaborate with other traders and businesses to create new and authentic experiences for visitors
This event is being managed by Neen Kelly who can be contacted on neen@ssdalliance.com if you have any queries.
