Join Borders Forest Trust at Corehead cabin for a morning of festive wreath making, using natural, locally sourced materials.
The course will begin at 10am and finish at 1pm. All materials and equipment will be provided, but please bring secateurs if you have them!
The stove will be on, tea and coffee will be provided, and there may even be a mince pie or two! Children are welcome, free of charge, but must be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult.
It’s worth noting this is a rural location, there is a compost toilet on the site but the nearest cafes, shops and public toilets are located in Moffat.
The Cabin is a short walk across a field from the Borders Forest Trust Corehead Car Park. The path can be muddy, so wellies or boots is recommended.
[Head north from Moffat on Beechgrove leading to The Old Edinburgh Rd. Continue until you reach Ericstane farm. Follow the road round to the right, crossing a small bridge with railings, then go through the farm. Continue carefully along this road until you reach the carpark.]
Generous funding from Destination Tweed means we can offer this workshop for a suggested donation of £8 to cover refreshments and some materials.
Numbers are very limited, please do let us know if you are no longer able to attend, so we can offer the place to someone else.
