Join Borders Forest Trust staff and Kate O’ Leary from Buglife to learn how to ID and survey pollinators using FIT counts and as well as IDing wildflowers in the Corehead meadow.
It’s worth noting this is a rural location, there is a compost toilet on the site but the nearest cafes, shops and public toilets are located in Moffat.
Borders Forest Trust Corehead Car Park, the path can be muddy, so good outdoor shoes are recommended.
[Head north from Moffat on Beechgrove leading to The Old Edinburgh Rd. Continue until you reach Ericstane farm. Follow the road round to the right, crossing a small bridge with railings, then go through the farm. Continue carefully along this road until you reach the carpark.]To book a space please email Borders Forest Trust Engagement Officer Adrian on: volunteer@bordersforesttrust.org.
