With a grant from Destination Tweed, Tweedsmuir Community Garden Group was able to build a new hut to host activities and events throughout the year.

Mertoun House, lies approximately 2km south of St Boswells and is a historically significant property, known for its elegant architecture and beautifully landscaped grounds.

The Old Melrose Estate blends historical depth with ecological richness, having been admired by Bronze Age Settlers to modern day pilgrims. It is the landscape that forms the dramatic foreground to the view  from Scott’s View.

Traquair House, located near Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders, is a striking example of medieval architecture and estate planning, with its centuries-old stone façade, hidden chambers and expansive grounds.

Floors Castle, nestled on the banks of the River Tweed near Kelso, is Scotland’s largest inhabited house and a striking example of 18th-Century and Victorian architecture.

The Hirsel is an impressive estate, dating back to the 17th century, located near Coldstream in the Scottish Borders. The estate is surrounded by a 200 hectare park with a large ornamental lake and river running through it.
